The Diaquick Strep A test is a qualitative rapid test for the detection of streptococcal A antigen in throat swab samples. The test contains antibody for Strep A to identify Strep A antigen in the throat sample. If the sample contains group A streptococcal antigen, there will be a reaction that will produce a red test line in the reading field of the test cassette. Each kit contains a positive and a negative control.
