Simple Simon UA Plus from Zafena is a flexible, modular analyzer that consists of three main parts; The urine strip reader (Meter), POC Workstation (IT Support) and a Barcode reader (Scanner).
POC-Workstation is the connection point for up to three simultaneous cable-connected and several BT-connected meters.
It is very easy to connect new meters through the patented instrument tag that connects and pairs the units without special IT knowledge or extra help. The meter has a sled for positioning the urine dipstick, an ON / OFF button and a START button. The meter is connected to the POC-Workstation via a USB cable and can be placed at a distance from the POC-Workstation, which can be hung on the wall.
The interaction with the analyzer takes place through the 7 ”large touch screen in color or the connected bar code reader. The built-in receipt printer is for printing results, but above all for printing laboratory orders, including laboratory IDs and requested analytes.
